Rayhaneh gorjian has studied painting. But more than painting she does pottery and makes sculptures .Meaning that she throws her colorful wisdom into the arms of her earthen wares generously and creates a world that she wants. Her words can be heard and the world inside her can be discovered through these sculptures.
It seems that she is mainly attracted to myths and ancient human patterns but she endeavors to bridge them and today’s world.
Her works can be departmentalized as this:
Mrs. Sun of me & the moon’s territory (subject of her B.A’s thesis) with a look at the sun at the saghanepars* of mazandaran.
*saghanepar or saghanefars are some huts or booths which are mostly built in north of Iran, Mazandaran, near mosques or grave yards for different use.
Women & wounds which copes with goddesses and the hard ships of women in her country.
Bull fights [I guess with a point of view of a die-hard bull and its strength through difficulties and its aid to human during the history of human life in one hand, and the role that it plays in myths on the other hand ,according to an old belief that illustrates the planet earth standing on the horns of a bull, she made these sculptures.]
Figures which are the symbol of resistance and tree with a combination of a tree and its branches which are similar to humans spinal column and his ribs skeleton. Symbol of resistance ,progress and not bending…
Operational means which are Rayhanehs last field of work. A little vase which accommodates a beautiful and soft flower inside or a simple means which of each she makes only one set and won’t repeat it anymore.

Rayhaneh is born in 1359 in Babol. She has started her artistic activity in 1373 and in 1376 she got her graphic diploma at Parvin Etesaami art school in Babol. Afterwards she got her graphic associate at applied science university and in 1395 she got her B.A at technical and professional Qodsie university in Saari. In addition to artistic activity, she is a good athlete and mountain climber. She has climbed almost most of Iran mountains and also the 5895 meters mountain ,Kilimanjaro, in Tanzania. Number of her artworks ,variation of them and fields of her works shows her inner passion and tirelessness.
For energetic and hardworking Rayhaneh, a great and bright outlook is being seemed.
